GMI Co-Founder, Maurice Treacy, will be speaking this Thursday on the Precision Planet Panel at 11.30am PDT for the Precision Medicine Leadership Summit in San Diego, California. The geographically and experientially diverse group of leaders will explore the various challenges that governments, industry, and the nonprofit sector face when implementing the evolving technologies of precision medicine.
The annual meeting of the American Society of Human Genetics was held October 18-22 in Vancouver, Canada. GMI’s Sean Ennis co-presented a workshop with WuXi NextCODE’s Jeff Gulcher, MD, Ph.D. and Mark Caulfield, FMedSci of Genomics England, entitled “Insights from the World’s Leading Precision Medicine Initiatives”. The programme outlined how leading precision medicine initiatives are solving the unprecedented challenge of storing and efficiently mining population-scale sequence data.
